The teachable ALLEGRAPlus series of motion controllers is designed to allow the user to record a motion profile manually. The intuitive Control Panel, joystick, or trackball is used to generate a 1, 2, 3 or 4 dimensional motion profile. 

When teaching is completed, the user is able to save the motion profile. This profile may later be uploaded to the controller. The controller will repeat the same exact motion.

NO PROGRAMMING IS NECESSARY.

This motion controller is stand-alone or host controlled, easy-to-use, plug-and-play and cost effective solution for motion control applications. Each system integrates the power supplies, controller, the micro-stepper and/or servo motor drivers. and stepper motors.

The speed of the motor is proportional to the tilt angle of the joystick or the rotational speed of the trackball. The joystick has three speed selection keys; fast, medium and slow speed.

The system may be controlled in different ways;

1) Teach Mode 
The intuitive Control Panel  allows the user to set-up the system quickly. The operator is able  to move the mechanism to different positions by pressing the corresponding buttons of the Control Panel or using the joystick and/or trackball. This motion profile may be recorded using the "Teach Mode" capability of the software. This profile may be uploaded to the controller to repeat the same exact motion.

2) Profile Entry Mode 
The motion parameters are manually entered in the control panel by typing the desired values in the corresponding fields, or may be read from an file.


This series is also available without the drivers. The outputs from the system would be power, enable, step and direction signals. This configuration is suited to interface with the "integrated motor and drivers".
