How to Turn on or Turn off a Device

The control input of the device to be switched on or off should be connected to the output port of the controller. Please consult the Hardware Reference Manual for the location of the output port.

Please note that the output of the controller is CMOS with a voltage swing from 0 VDC to +5 VDC with +10 mAmp sink and source current capability. If this much current is not enough an external transistor or solid state relay may be used.

The motion controller has a set of commands to turn on / off its output lines individually or collectively. Please consult Operating and Programming Reference Manual.
